Turn on <strong>Remember my browsing and download history</strong>
At the bottom of the page, turn on <strong>Clear History When Firefox Closes.</strong>
At the far right, press the <strong>Settings</strong> button. Turn on ONLY <strong>Cache</strong> and
<strong>Form And Search History</strong> leaving the others off.

Then click on security and make sure that that the box saying remember passwords for sites is checked.If it is not,click on the box.If the box is greyed out,go to privacy settings and makes sure that it is saying "Firefox will remember history".If it doesn't,click on it and click on "Remember history"
