How do you erase PC Pro Cleaner?
I stupidly downloaded this freaking program, to try and get rid of a Malware issue. I was told to down load this 'trial version' and it would clean out ANY Malware problem. Well of course it is just an advertisement to buy their program, and it did nothing. Now I find out it is imbedded like a bedbug!!!!! It is next to impossible to delete. I have tried to uninstall it, no luck. All it does is open the freaking program and start scanning my computer again!!! It has slowed my computer down SO much. I am on the edge of reformatting my hard-drive and starting over from scratch!
I am not a computer whiz at all. I can barely 'copy and paste'....but is there a way to get rid of this program, or at least turn it off, or kill it, and make it stop opening when i start up EVERYTIME!?

I have tried that site and all those programs.It didnt work at all. This PC Pro Cleaner is EMBEDDED like a tick! I cant get rid of it. did this work for you? My uninstall option from the computer did nothing. That sent me on the search for a way to get rid of this program and sent me to that page you sent me. I downloaded all those options and it did nothing. did one of them work for you? Maybe i have to do it again?
Hi sgb827, I don't think forum volunteers want to get infected to see how it works for them, if you know what I mean.
Did you remove everything installed at the same time as the unwanted program? Sometimes there is a maintenance program that keeps reinstalling unwanted software, and it may have a completely unrelated and innocent sounding name.
Since this is not a browser invader, most of our usual toolkit does not apply. You may want to go straight to the specialized forums listed toward the end of our support article: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware. They often suggest very sophisticated and customized tools that require specific instructions to use; we aren't able to support those here.
As i said. i am computer 'dumb' i dont understand what you just said. All I know is there are like 20 sites that are dedicated to TRYING to get rid of 'PC Pro Cleaner'. THAT is how much of a pain in the A-- this program is. But none have worked for me yet. Even if I could just turn it off i would be thrilled. I cant even find an 'email address' to bug the sellers of this shi--y program and tell them to tell me how to get rid of their junk! IF i bought this stupid program ,and i wont! I MIGHT get an address to BEG for help from them. BUT my luck i will get MORE Malware! I cant even find the address of who made it, or a website to get instructions on how to remove their program. All i get is the 'free trail version' to download. No info on who made it or how to get rid of it. It is VERY complicated in one way to remove it, you have to type in like 8 lines of..... 'http://4%6*l*/03 etc'...to TRY and erase it!. i have NEVER tried to type in stuff like that. Let alone 8 lines of it and 'open this ,close that', etc...it is a BEDBUG!!!

You said you opened the Windows Control Panel to the Uninstall Programs control panel. Did you do that? Can you return there now.
You may recall that the list takes a while to load. Click the column heading labeled "Installed on" so the items are sorted by install date, with the newest first. Each time you click the column heading, the order reverses.
When you install free software, it's often a bundle and there is other crap to remove. Try to remove EVERYTHING installed at that same time, even if it sounds innocent, unless you KNOW it is safe.
