This is probably the 5th time I tried to switch to Firefox as my browser, but I always end up getting frustrated when I can not play videos and I search for answers on how to solve this, hours and hours wasted, after I tried several options, but nothing. I just followed the instructions, again, for installing FlashPlayer for Firefox, even thou it was installed already in my computer ( as it was always before) and its working perfectly for IE and Chrome. Followed the instructions here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-flash-plugin-view-videos-animations-games#w_installing-the-flash-plugin-manually exactly as it states, but when I go to add ons manager and pluggins is NOT there at all.

I would really like to use Firefox as my browser as I do not like google, but this is just too frustrating and it seems complicated, which I do not understand why?

Anyone can help and show me how to do this? Thanks!

Your System Details list shows the Flash plugin:

  • Shockwave Flash 17.0 r0

Doesn't the Adobe test page not confirm this?

If you are having problems with the Flash installer from Adobe's download page, you can use this Flash Player installer link to directly download the full installer.

Make sure you download the installer using Firefox, to get the right version.
