vines no longer playing on twitter, they did play when i went to the web link of that particular vine, but now even that is a still picture. ltst ffx installed

One thing, check about:config and make sure media.windows-media-foundation.enabled is set to true Double-click to toggle the value.
If it's false, that will cause Vines to not play.
it was already on TRUE :(
done x2 firefox refreshes checked again to make sure media foundation was set to true both times (it was) still no luck , vine/s was working fine couple weeks ago
media.windows-media-foundation.enabled doesn't apply to Windows XP, it is for Vista and later. On Windows XP you need media.directshow.enabled to enable the HTML5 media player. You also need to have support to play MP4 files in your operating system.

That (media.directshow.enabled) was set to true also , at a real loss as to what the problem is now , all worked fine a couple of weeks ago , then the enbeded ones stopped working but could still click the external (view on web) links to see them now they have stopped working.

No vines for me it is then .. Hopefully this will get fixed on next update , or i will reluctantly have to switch to chrome after being on firefox for Years !!
