Does the problem with Firefox 36 loading slowly with Norton need a proper fix or will this sort itself out automatically?
The suggested solution of excluding Firefox etc from Auto-Protect, SONAR scans speeds the loading up as a temporary measure but surely leaves the system exposed to any corruption of Firefox elements at a later time? (The loading time already seems to have reduced significantly over the last couple of days without this exclusion)

Whatever fix might be necessary will have to come from Norton. Firefox works fine without Norton, so if there is some sort of conflict it is caused by Norton.
I think maybe they need to talk to each other. It was only when Firefox upgraded to the new version (36) that this problem occurred, so there must be something about this that is causing a problem.
