Why are some of my favicons blank in firefox 36 running on Windows 8.1?
I can't seem to figure out why some of my icons are blank. I have added the Reloader and that did nothing. I am up to date with all my software and updates so what is the problem? This is happening in my drop down bookmarks and on my toolbar bookmarks.

There's a few possible reasons: A new Bookmark may not show the Favicon until that bookmark is used for the first time. Firefox Sync doesn't synchronize the Favicons with the "new" bookmarks on each device. Some Favicons just won't be saved due to incompatiblity with the bookmarks system. Or the location of the Favicon image on the website is in a screwy location, rather than in the root folder on the server.
More than likely the latter if - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/faviconreloader/ - isn't working.
I have used these bookmarks before and all the time and there is no icon showing for it now.
I am only on one device which is my laptop running Windows 8.1 so we are not talking about "devices"
And we are talking about major sites like Meetup.com
How can this be fixed?

I went to meetup.com and saw the favicon on the Address Bar (Classic Theme Restorer adds it back with one of its options). I also noticed that http://www.meetup.com/favicon.ico exists so it should have no problem finding it.
Have you tried deleting and re-adding the bookmark?
Might try restarting Firefox with add-ons disabled (safe-mode - Help -> Restart with Add-ons disabled) to see if some extension is messing with them.
I have done the restorer twice (removing it and reinstalling) then letting it go through it's process and meetup is still blank.
I have done safe mode and none of my bookmarks showed. After doing Restorer some did wind up getting showed but still a lot have not like meetup.
I have deleted all my meetup bookmarks and I have re-added it and still the favicon is blank. There seems to be a problem, which is why I contacted you guys after I saw that safemode did nothing in showing the favicons at all.
Sorry, but I have no problems with the Favicon for MeetUp. Works for me.
Ok Thanks for nothing. i will just delete firefox, and stick with Chrome, I really don't know why I keep being bothered by this crappy browser and ALL it's problems. Every single update is a back step in time. And with your attitude and lack of help I can see why this product is going to crap.
