I am a software developer with the State of Illinois. When I opened a web form in my Firefox browser on my Android device to test it, the username box prefilled with someone else's username. 1) I have never heard of that username and I am 1000% sure that entry was NEVER made using my device. 2) I am the web form developer and I can tell you 1000% that the for itself is not passing the value. 3) That username IS VALID. I checked our database and a user did register with that name on 9/17/2014.

This is an EXTREMELY important issue. Glen Wheeler

Do you mean that when you tapped the field or typed a character, Firefox displayed the username in a drop-down as a suggestion? Or did the username appear in the form before you touched the field?

If you reload, do you keep getting the same username or is it inconsistent? You may want to clear the cache (just the cache) and try reloading in case Firefox has now cached the erroneous information. You can do that using the Clear Private Data feature as described in this article: Clear your browsing history and other personal data on Firefox for Android. If clearing just the cache doesn't work, could you also try clearing both cache and cookies and then reloading?

The entry appeared as soon as the page loaded. Probably because that field has default focus. I searched our support history deeper and saw that a user with the login name that is appearing in my web browser reported an issue last September. The user claimed that she was unable to enter characters into the user name field using an iPad. I must have tested the form on my Android phone at that time. I apologize for wasting your time.
