Firefox giving me dull and faded black colors - need major help, please !!!!

I am running Vista and have the latest version of Firefox (35.01). I have an older Graphics card- A Gforce 6150SE

Just recently, I noticed my black fonts have become faded and washed out looking. I assumed it was my monitor, so I already tossed it and bought a new one. Problem not solved.

I read to disable the hardware accelerator. That did not solve the problem. I even double checked the the two config things.

Still I cannot fix this. I need assistance as my brain power has run out!!! Thanks , David

I just deleted the 3013455 update and the text and fonts seem more normal.
