Run most or all of the listed scanners. And every once in a while, scan again.

Febe is an add-on. It goes straight into Firefox. What is scanning what? If it looks like the scan froze, stop it.

I left the house when the back up started, when *I got back,Nd noticed it was stu k ,I aborted it. So, just then, the author of the softwRe sent me an email ,thNki.g me for.my donation.so decided to ask him my next course. He suggested the debugger in advNced options.thY fucked it all up!.'the debugger opened up Nd will not close . He suggested another backh up and copy the results to support but could not do that due to the debugging page covering the screen.am currently doing. Restore point. See want happens.

Shut down the computer. If there is a program that will not close, the computer will as if you want to force it to close that program.

Did you see any alert or error messages?

no can do. right after my system restore, (only went back2 hrs), the computer restarted, but it never finished, it got to Toshiba splash screen, then right before the login screen, the screen just stays in the dark blue phase. stuck right there! I guess the problem was never fixed.! tried going the F8 key when the splash screen starts ,guess win 8 does not do that anymore? that used to bring up the safe mode!

Is there a way to get into safe mode at the splash screen like we used to be able to do? why would they not keep the F8 anyway? this would be great from here, because it will not go to the next screen-log on? I hate win 8!!

http://www.howtogeek.com/107511/how-to-boot-into-safe-mode-on-windows-8-the-easy-way/

One of the most common steps when troubleshooting a PC is to boot into safe mode. For a long time this has been achieved by pressing the F8 key, this all changes with Windows 8 and its Automatic Repair mode. But what if we want Safe Mode?
