Have deleted account. Created new existing mail account, enter server details, click test - the server details are found automatically. Then enter password and click ok - then Thunderbird hangs forever while saying that password is ok.

Alternatively - create new existing mail account without entering password, click ok, then procedure goes through, and the email gets created. However, it never asks for password. Even upon restart of Thunderbird and machine. There are no passwords saved under security settings
