when I click on customise, nothing happens...why...?
I have uninstalled ALL Firefox files, etc., and reinstalled latest version. When I open the menu on upper right corner, and click on customise, nothing happens. Before I reinstalled, all I would get was a blank white screen. Now as I said, I get no response at all.
ANy suggestions as to what I can do...?
Regards,
Laurie

Laurie, please update to version 35.0.1 and make sure that your Java and graphics drivers are up to date.
Already have latest FF version. Java online and all GPU drivers up to date. Still get a blank white page when I click "Customise"...???
It there a Restore Defaults button visible that you can click?
Try to rename (or delete) the xulstore.json file in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
You can also try to reset the browser.uiCustomization.state pref on the about:config page.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
Something is VERY wrong here. When I type about:config in the search bar, I get a web page...!!???

YOWZA...!!! All is good. Many thanks to forgottengods for the tip. I got my "customise back, now all I gotta do is figure out how to get my "stop/refresh" buttons back on the left side.
Well, THAT was a short lived relief...! Now that the "customise" function is working again, I cannot get any Add-ons to work...??!! I installed a "Stop/Refresh" add-on but no buttons showed up anywhere. I tried another style...same thing. Both showed being downloaded in the menu, but no effects are taking place...???
Oh Ya, as I said, I have the 35.0.1 version of FF installed awith all updates to drivers and am running Bing as home page, which shouldn't matter to FF.
Check to see if there is something on Windows that installed recently. Programs and features. Also run a few security scans. Try downloading Ccleaner and using its registry Clean, some values may be corrupted.

Maybe those add-ons aren't compatible with each other, or need to be fixed; or aren't compatible with Firefox 35.0.1??
Specifically, which add-ons have you installed after that Refresh? Sounds like you got it working again, and then went and broke something again.
Classic Reload Stop-G--Button for one. And here's another weird thing that happens. When I turn on the Add-On, it tells but when I do that all I get is a blank white screen...!!?? I have to hit the "home" button that takes me to my bing home page. There's SOMETHING going on here and I think maybe it's the latest version that my computer doesn't like...?
So, Firefox 35 works fine until you install certain add-ons or enable those add-ons. That sure doesn't sound like a problem with Firefox, but rather a problem with an add-on or the combination of the add-ons you have installed.
