Cannot drag Private Window

Posted

I have no problem dragging the standard Firefox window, but I cannot drag Private Windows. Title bar is there, so that is not the issue. This started with the latest version (35.0).

Chosen solution

HI guavaman, There was some feedback in the previous launch that also referred to this issue. However today they was an update version 35.0.1 that may have addressed it. Please update to the latest version and post back if this is still happening.

Otherwise, try a new profile to make sure it does not have to do with an extension or a new preference: Profile Manager - Create, remove, or switch Firefox profiles

Just to be sure:

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
