Migrating from Apple mail to Thunderbird?

Well I just wanna to migrate from Apple mail to Thunderbird, but I have problems make that happens. For now I didn't find any good solution and I'm stuck with Apple Mail until I found solution. I'm using OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 and Apple Mail 8.1 and every time I start import on Thunderbird I become message (didn't find any mail folder to import, or something like that... not sure)!

I don't know is IMPORTANT to say that I'm using IMAP e-mail!?

Please help me soon as possible so I can finally move to Thunderbird.
