When I started up Firefox, it decided for some reason that it needed to refresh or reset. It said that it was importing all of my addons, passwords, history etc. But for some reason, all of my addons are missing. Is there anything I can do about this? I'm on a mac by the way

HI rockarolla, There will be a Old Firefox Data folder on your desktop. In order to restore the data from this folder you can Recovering important data from an old profile or you can reinstall the add ons.

These can't get your data back, but will help in the future.

These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox

FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backup of files that you choose.

I will do this in the future to avoid stuff like this. Cheers

Did Firefox ask you to 'refresh' because of a crash or because Firefox was starting slowly?
