If I export my bookmarks from FFox to Safari, do they disappear from FFox?

I'd like to use both FFox and Safari (not at the same time, of course!) and want all of my bookmarks to be available in both browsers. Thanks!

Chosen solution

No. Export merely makes a copy of your bookmarks. It does not delete them from FF. Make as many copies as you want. The exported files can also serve as a backup.
