When I scroll a page such as when using twitter or other similar site that you can continue to scroll after page conltinues to load more data, once I click or right click on a link page so that I can open another tab the page springs back to top. Then have to shuffle towards the end again to continue viewing.

IS this a common problem and is there a solution to this? It seems to only happen to when I use Firefox, as I like to use this more than others.

Would appreciate some suggestion on how to prevent this from occurring. Thanks.

Hi stillwatersoup, Please try this also in Safe mode to make sure that it is not due to an interaction of an Add on or Hardware Acceleration. Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

If this is not the case, it is also possible to disable accelerated scrolling:

  1. Go to the Firefox Menu
  2. Click on Options
  3. Advanced > General under Browsing uncheck smooth scrolling or auto scrolling and restart Firefox to see if there is a difference.
