I upgraded to the latest version of Firefox (33.1.1), but the menu button doesn't show "sign in to sync." What's going on? I have new smart phones and need to add these devices to my sync account.

what do you see in the Sync tab in Options > Sync?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
