I am on a webpage that I want and I click on a relevant link for more info re that page. The link opens correctly but so does another page that I didn't ask for and has no connection or relevance to what I am doing. I then have to cancel the unwanted page and the relevant one stays open. It' very annoying and can you please tell me how to stop it. It's only started happening recently. Thanks - I hope

Chosen solution

I understand when you click on a weblink inside a site, two webpages open instead of one. It sounds like some kind of Adware and I would recommend scanning for Malware or Resetting Firefox (Please understand that this will restore Firefox to its defaults and all customization will be removed to a folder called "Old Firefox Data" on the desktop)
