Why does Firefox insist on upgrading when upgrading often causes problems?

After being constantly bothered to upgrade my Firefox 25.0 to 32.0.2 I finally did it. I am running a macbookpro Mtn Lion OSX. Gradually I noticed images were often not loading on a web page. Eventually it got so bad that I could not use the browser. Luckily I decided to migrate back to Firefox 25.0 and my problem disappeared. So since this does happen why doesn't Firefox provide an easy method to stay with an older browser? No update should EVER make a browser malfunction...

I doubt the update made Firefox act up, as I haven't seen a single other report of this issue among our millions of Firefox 32.0.2 users. Please try updating mac to Firefox 32.0.2, and then try the steps at Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should

@Tyler too late to hide behind the rules. Rules are meaningless if the moderators don't follow them in their own post.
