remove firefox suggestion of websites when I start typing in letters to a website

when I type in a url to go to, after typing in a letter or 2, firefox will suggest a few websites where I have visited previously. How do I prevent firefox from suggesting these websites. I tried clearing history so that firefox does not remember these websites, but it does not seem to help at all.

In your Firefox Browser go to Menu>Options>Advanced tab>General sub-tab>Uncheck the option "Search for text when I start typing". Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
