Why is FireFox 30.0 restoring my previous window whenever i restart Firefox?

My browser has recently started to restore the previous session that was active before the window closed. This can either be when I am just exiting the window, then start back up a little later on, or even when i turn my computer off after closing all my windows and then turn it back on, no matter the how much time had lapsed between usage. I have checked the User settings, and yet the settings read "Start at my Homepage."

However the browser still insists on restarting the previous window, no matter how long ago this window was first opened. Can I please have help and an answer as to why my Mozilla Firefox all of the sudden changed settings, and does not show that it has?

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that sets the browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once pref to true.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
