My Firefox was updated to version 29.0.1 on my Mac. It is now very slow!

My firefox was just updated. Since then I have noticed that links do not react fast enough and sometimes not at all. This is very annoying. If it continues, I think I will switch to another browser.

Clear the Cache Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

and

Remove Cookies Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode While you are in safe mode; Firefox Options > Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration. Poke around and see if there is still a problem. Then restart
