Previously, when using Google (via Mozilla) I was able to copy something from say ...Wikipedia, by highlighting and scrolling down through a few pages to gather the content I needed. Now it only scrolls to the bottom of the first page as far as my task bar line...then I have to go back & copy the next section to the task bar line...etc What has happened to the old way? Thanks, Ron

I was not able to replicate this, both:

  1. left mouse button hold + mouse movement down;
  2. left mouse button hold + scroll wheel down;

work and are highlighting the contents, when you reach the end of page, the scroll bar moves respectively and you can continue highlighting...

Also if you want to highlight the whole page, try: ctrl+a

Try to (temporarily) display a toolbar that opens at the bottom of the Firefox window.
Possible candidates are the Find bar (Ctrl+F) and the Developer toolbar (Firefox/Tools > (Web) Developer; Shift + F2) or the Add-on bar if you have the Classic Theme Restorer extension.
