Whatever the reason, it's an inane choice. PUT THE DOWNLOAD BOX BACK ON TOOLBAR!!!

Hi,

The downloads icon that displays the list is there in the same place. You can click the Downloads icon (Arrow facing down) in the right side of the Address Bar and Search Bar and click Show all Downloads to get to the downloads box. You can also press Ctrl + J to do the same thing.

If you don't have the Downloads icon, you probably have it hidden.

  • Go to the Customize menu by going to new fx menu > Customize

Took a tad more than just "going to Customize. " First thing to do was figure out where "Customize" might be. Just guessing, I clicked the three-horizontal-line box at far right end of the address bar. Downloads was on that menu. But I want it on my toolbar, where it used to be at far right of address box. At bottom of the Menu screen there was a bar, Customize. Clicked that and got a screen where I could move Download and other icons around by clicking on the icon, holding, and dragging. But that didn't get it on the toolbar. Finally, out of curiosity I right-clicked the icon to see what would happen. I got a small box giving me choice to Move to Toolbar. Clicked that. BINGO!!! Also figured out you can do same by clicking View/Toolbars/Customize, then right click any icon you want on Toolbar and put it there. Thanks for starting me in right direction.
