When you hyperlink from a third party app which is UAC blocked, Launcher Process fails and is disabled. It has to be toggled off and back on again in config to re-enable it.

Hi Kiki, It isn't related to any post. I noticed my fan coming on - an elevated CPU - and browsing was a little "choppy". I came across the 'Due to failure' in about:support and ultimately chased it out.

On the Launcher Process entry on the about:support page,, see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-troubleshooting-information-page-fix-firefox/discuss/8030
