Welcome back to another action-packed version of Firefox! This update lets you leap through your tab history, add custom search engines and set a home page. All of this is made even easier with a new menu.

Ready? Here’s a look at what’s available at your fingertips.

Add search engines from websites you visit

While popular search engines are already built into Firefox, this update gives you more choices. You can now add search engines from your favorite websites (for example, shopping, video or news sites). Just tap that site’s search box, then tap the magnifying glass icon add search icon ios 5 to add that search engine.

Improved Navigation

We’ve packaged useful tools into an easy-to-access menu so you can browse faster. Tap the menu icon at the bottom of the screen for an easy shortcut to common actions such as adding a bookmark or viewing your history (Tip: Swipe to the left or right to find more actions.)

Jump to a page in your tab history by long-tapping the back/forward button

Psst, want to learn a trick? We’ve added a shortcut that lets you leap two or even ten pages into your tab history, simply by tapping and holding the back or forward button. No more repetitive back-button pressing (your fingers will thank you). Go on and browse your heart out.

Reopen closed tabs

If you’ve closed all your tabs by tapping Close all Tabs and changed your mind immediately afterwards, don’t fret. Firefox will let you reopen these tabs using the “Undo” option. Because everyone deserves a second chance.
