Someone (I'm guessing Joni) already added this to the "Need Changes" list. I updated the article description to include Thunderbird in the "Relevant to" section and I added the Thunderbird topic, "Install, Migrate and Update", so that this article can be found when searching the Thunderbird Knowledge Base. Related bug: Bug 1200214 - KB article on Mozilla Maintenance Service should not be specific to Firefox

Still need to update the article content to include Thunderbird and possibly mention SeaMonkey (ref.1, ref.2).

The "Disabling the Mozilla Maintenance Service" section needs instructions to disable the service in Thunderbird. According to http://codeverge.com/mozilla.support.thunderbird/tb-update-service/1524046 Thunderbird includes, the option to "use a background service for updates"? It is on the updates tab of the Advanced section in Thunderbird Options menu.

    (I don't have Thunderbird installed so I can't confirm).

I made a new revision just now, to make this article apply to Thunderbird. It's pending review. (I deleted my earlier revision since it had some errors).

I made another revision to add a link for Windows 10, under the "Uninstalling" section.
