    This article links to Website colors are wrong which is archived. The next time this article is updated, I think we should either remove the link or incorporate the information into the article.

    The hard part about coming up with some guidelines is that often, an individual case has specific things which need to be considered. I'll have to go look at the download window article and the archived articles. What I think we should strive to do is this:

    • If the article needs to be updated, remove the links to archived articles as part of the update. Don't go out of your way to remove the links.
    • As part of the update, possibly incorporate any helpful information from the archived articles into the main article. It's possible that in the process of trying to do this it might make sense to un-archive an article or un-archive and re-write/re-scope an article.
