I'm approving a special, super short version of this article to test with a new update funnel. We have millions of users going to mozilla.org to download a new copy of Firefox. We surveyed them and found that the majority were trying to update. So now if you go to download and you are on the current version the page will tell you you are up-to-date. If you have an old version, you are linked to this article with instructions for updating. We'd like to test if a simplified article works better than the more complicated one that started with an explanation of update prompts and ended with all the various update settings.

It turns out that it works just as well so there's no sense keeping all the extra information. The "didn't work" comments on the short version mainly centered on not knowing what to do if the update didn't work so I made that link more prominent. There was also a comment (maybe 2) looking for update settings so I linked to where they are already documented.
