The Advanced panel - Accessibility, browsing, network, updates, and other advanced settings in Firefox Update tab now has a "Use a background service to install updates" option in Firefox 12 on Windows, when the Mozilla Maintenance Service is installed (in most cases it will be installed automatically via software update).
