Mention that plugins are not removed but "Activate" plugin preferences are reset (was: After using REFRESH one needs to update Plug-Ins)

The help page for REFRESH FireFox needs more info. 1. By refreshing Firefox the new or default profile does not guarantee that the add-ons/plug-ins are all up to date or not vulnerable.

Thank you for firefox and keeping privacy important!!!

Under the "What does the refresh feature do?" section, the article explains that Extensions and themes are removed with a Refresh and the linked text goes to Find and install add-ons to add features to Firefox.

The article is titled, "Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings" so I think that the article should mention that plugins are not removed by a Firefox reset/refresh but preference settings to "Always/Never/Ask to Activate" plugins ARE reset to defaults.

I added a Needs Change entry, "Mention that plugins are not removed but "Activate" plugin preferences are reset (see discussion)" for this article.

P.S. Under the "What does the refresh feature do?" section, the article currently says this:

These items and settings will be removed:

The plugin settings link should be removed. The Applications panel is used for file download actions (preview in Firefox, open with an application or plugin, save file, etc.), not specifically plugin settings. The download actions link already covers Applications settings. As for plugin settings in the Add-ons manager Plugins panel, "Always Activate" "Ask to Activate" and "Never Activate" modified settings are saved in the prefs.js file and viewed via about:config preferences for "plugin.state.<xxxx>" (for example, plugin.state.flash and plugin.state.java).

I made a revision to add the following paragraph under "What does the refresh feature do?"

Add-ons normally stored inside the Firefox profile folder, such as extensions and themes, will be removed. Add-ons stored in other locations, such as plugins, will not be removed but any modified preferences (such as plugins you have disabled) will be reset.

I also removed the link for "plugin settings".
