    I don't have a menu bar so I can't access reset.

    This forum is for improving the Knowledge Base article, which is written for different operating systems. Do you see a version selector at the top of the article? You can change that:

    For Windows 7/Vista (which uses the Firefox button by default):

    At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button, go over to the Help sub-menu and select Troubleshooting Information
    

    For Windows XP (which uses the menu bar by default):

    At the top of the Firefox window, click the Help menu and select Troubleshooting Information
    

    You can then click the Reset Firefox… button in the upper-right corner of the Troubleshooting Information page.
