A few days ago my Sony VAIO updated the flash player to 11.3.0 since then, a very strange noise heard whenever playing videos on youtube.

Scanned for anti-virus: and the system was clear Re-installed the sound card drivers to tackle the problem, no outcome.

After troubleshooting the problem, it appeared to be that the new flash player plugin which adobe has released very lately; is the trouble maker. after downgraded the flash player to 10.3 everything was spot on.

Here is the solution: 1. Uninstall the 11.3V using this file from adobe: http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash_player.exe

    Install the 10.3 V. from Adobe: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_10_plugin.exe

Hope this will end your misery as it did to me!

    Cheers.
