My suggestion is Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data (like Firefox article).

P.S. I see that Marko corrected his suggestion in the above thread, to rename this article from "Profiles TB" to Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages, addresses and other user data

Sorry for nagging, but any updates here? This article has about 22.500 visits per month and the current title is simply terrible.

I agree with the suggestion to rename this article from "Profiles TB" to Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages, addresses and other user data

Are there any other suggestions? If not I think we can go ahead and rename this article.

P.S. The Rename Thunderbird articles project to try and rename ALL Thunderbird articles at once seems to have fizzled out.

I was going to rename this article from "Profiles TB" to "Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages, addresses and other user data" ... but then I noticed that the search results summary and first sentence in the article is this:

Thunderbird saves personal information such as messages, passwords and user preferences in a set of files called a "profile".

Lan also included passwords in his original post. I think that either the article should be changed to include "addresses" in the search summary and Intro or else "passwords" should be included in the title, for example,

Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages, passwords and other user data

or Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages, passwords, addresses and other user data

I'll let Chris, Lan and other TB users decide since I don't use Thunderbird and don't do any work on Thunderbird KB articles.

Just my 2c (to avoid the title getting even longer and we may still miss something): Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages and important user data

I find that users tend to associate passwords with accounts, so I still prefer the original suggestion.

I think that Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages and other user data is perfectly enough.

Looks like I'm in the minority here. I'll rename it to Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages and other user data
