From version 25 ahead, the "Plugins" section is no more available. From what I see, as the "Click to play" feature comes in, this option is moved in the Addons page (plugins panel).

I think that you should post this in the Firefox 25 research thread, /forums/knowledge-base-articles/709650

Never mind. I posted the following in the Firefox 25 Research thread:

The click to play preference is enabled by default in Firefox 25:

    • Bug 886423 - Flip the click_to_play UI on by default (Firefox desktop)

    Copied from the bug report:

Turn on the click-to-play UI by default in Firefox desktop. As a side effect, remove the plugin permission from about:permissions because we're using per-plugin permission not per-site and about:permissions doesn't know about that. Page Info knows about i

Need to update Permissions Manager - Give certain websites the ability to store passwords, set cookies and more (underpass already mentioned this in the article Discussion, /kb/permissions-manager-give-ability-.../4918

Why do I have to click to activate plugins? may also need updating.

Hi Alice, I would have posted there but when I came aware of the lack of the plugin section, I did not manage to find the "research" thread for Fx 25. Thanks :)
