Well spotted. I am looking at en-US here. I have not yet looked at any localisations. I know localising links can be tricky especially involving sub sections.

Is your question mainly en-US being wrong ? That is probably not your main concern. I will discus that first, because we do need that article to be correct.

I do not speak Danish, but am sure with help from you and Google Translate I can figure out problems with the Dansk L10N links. My first attempt to answer has links here mainly relating to en-US.

    Linked Article
    Search the Web on Firefox
en-US, [da] (Dansk) /kb/soegefelt-tilfoej-skift-og-haandter-... Søgefelt - Tilføj, skift og håndter søgetjenester i Firefox

I guess it is link rot, where sections have been reordered or renamed, although I have not looked through the other articles History. A reminder maybe that we need to take care when adding sections etc,

    1. |Quickly switch between search engines
      • Uses
[[Search bar - add, change and manage search engines on Firefox#w_switching-search-engines|switch between search engines]]
      • Appears it should be
[[Search bar - add, change and manage search engines on Firefox #w_using-the-search-bar_2|switch between search engines]]
      • Result switch between search engines
    2. |View menu to switch, add or manage search engines
      • Contains three links and expands to
[[Search bar - add, change and manage search engines on Firefox#w_switching-search-engines|switch]], [[Search bar - add, change and manage search engines on Firefox#w_add-a-search-engine-from-a-website|add]] or [[Search bar - add, change and manage search engines on Firefox#w_add-a-search-engine-through-the-search-engines-manager|manage search engines]]
      1. switch
        • uses switch (#w_switching-search-engines),
        • could use link as in [1] above
      2. add
        • uses add (#w_add-a-search-engine-from-a-website)
        • worksforme en-US
But it is intentionally going to a none ToC sub section.
        • I think we need a note for L10N to see #w_add-a-search-engine
Use: [[Search bar - add, change and manage search engines on Firefox#w_add-a-search-engine|add]] (#w_add-a-search-engine)
          Result: add (#w_add-a-search-engine)
      3. manage search engines <== Do we need a section link? NO
        • uses manage search engines (#w_add-a-search-engine-through-the-search-engines-manager)
        • Not in ToC again. Similar to situation in [2-2] immediately above.
        • BUT all the article is doing is explaining Keyboard Shortcuts. I would propose just leaving out the link (Alterntive just link to the top of the article.)

Do you agree, or think it should be changed further ? Do you wish to make the changes ? Or would you prefer me to do so ?

If I make changes I will give others a chance to comment before approving.

When I localize or review articles with sub entries i always look up the localized sub entry. If the source (English) text is wrong it becomes a problem for the localizers. I have already updated / translated the Danish version of article. So there is no need for Google Translate or any other machine translator :)

    You wrote: "add

No. It looks like its working because both sub entries start with #w_add-a-search-engine. The correct link is as you wrote: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-search-bar-firefox-and-manage-search-engines#w_add-a-search-engine It's (#w_add-a-search-engine) not (#w_add-a-search-engine-from-a-website).

I would rather not edit the English text. Would you could tale care of that?

Good to know you sorted out the localisation ok. Thanks for reporting the problem with the en-US version. I will credit you on the article when approved. Do you agree with the revision ?

I have edited en-US but not yet self approved https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly/compare?locale=en-US&to=97716&from=95772

... It looks like its working because both sub entries start with #w_add-a-search-engine. ...

    Note when I try

They go to slightly different locations within the kb article I see (my emphasis)

     <div id="toc"><h2>Table of Contents</h2><ul><li class="toclevel-1"><a href="#w_using-the-search-bar"> ... </a></li><li class="toclevel-1"><a href="#w_add-a-search-engine-from-a-website">... <a href="#w_add-a-search-engine-through-the-search-engines-manager"> ... </span></a></li></ul></div>

    <h1 id="w_add-a-search-engine-from-a-website">Add a search engine from a website</h1>

    and guess that explains this.

The #w_add-a-search-engine-from-a-website is for Firefox 33 and older. I think we should use #w_add-a-search-engine instead.
