I made a new revision in which I removed the steps to disable Flash protected mode and added a link to the instructions in another article, Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again. We update that section a lot and it will be much easier for editors and localizers if we don't always have to update instructions in both articles. Users get exactly the same instructions in the Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again article.

It's been a pain to keep updating both articles as well as the related discussion threads! My other thought was to create a template to use in both articles but your solution is better.

Now that we have a new article on how to disable Flash protected mode in Firefox 38, I made another edit based on your revision, to link to the Adobe Flash protected mode in Firefox article for fx38 and above. What do you think?

If you agree, I'll change the Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again article to also link to the Adobe Flash protected mode in Firefox article for fx38 and above.

On second thought, I think we should just link to Adobe Flash protected mode in Firefox in this article for fx 38. I think we should keep the Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again article as it is, so that it gives complete instructions without having to click on a link.

I made an edit to that article's "Disable Flash protected mode" section to add that Flash protected mode can cause hangs or plugin crashes for some users, for the benefit of those users linked there from this article's section on hangs.

I also added a "Learn More…" link to Adobe Flash protected mode in Firefox for fx38 (under the screenshot) but I kept the complete instructions to disable Flash protected mode.
