    I tried getting out of Full Screen mode on my Windows 7 laptop and the instructions in the article don't work, since the Firefox Button remained hidden. I had to right-click on the Tab Strip and select Exit Full Screen Mode"

    As for "Keyboard Shortcuts", F11 doesn't work. F11 is set up (By HP?) to mute or unmute the volume. I have to press fn + F11 to get in or out of Full Screen mode.

    Also need to review Mac instructions (this article is on the Need Changes list). This article also needs minor nit fixes - See the related discussion here: https://support.mozilla.com/forums/knowledge-base-articles/707801

    The instructions given in the article also don't work on Mac OS. I tested on my iMac running OS X 10.6.8. These sections need fixing:

    Under Turn on Full Screen, use these {for mac} instructions:

    1. On the menu bar, click on the {menu View} menu
    2. Click {menu Full Screen}

    Under Turn off Full Screen: You can use the {for mac} instructions from the What happened to the File, Edit, and View menus? article:

    1. Move the pointer to the top of the screen
    2. Click on the Full Screen icon [[Image:1ac02852251f68821c5828d6ae805417-1258684309-723-3.png]]

    P.S. In the What happened to the File, Edit, and View menus? article, the "Full Screen" icon shown is this: ...however, on my iMac, the arrows are reversed and point inwards, not outwards. Maybe the article is using the Full Screen icon that you put on the toolbar, as shown here? (from the Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars article)

    I can also turn off Full Screen on Mac OS by moving the pointer to the top of the screen and when the tab strip appears, control-click and click "Exit Full Screen Mode".

    The "Keyboard Shortcuts" instructions command + shift + F also work.

    I approved a revision today as a minor edit since more updates are needed. In addition to the needed Mac updates:

    A note should be added to the Turn on Full Screen Mode instructions for Windows and Linux, since Linux and Windows XP don't include the Firefox button by default and will display the Menu Bar:

    {note}Note: If the Menu Bar is shown (the default in {for win}Windows XP){/for}{for Linux} Linux){/for} click {menu View} and then click {menu Full Screen}.{/note}

    We should also change the instructions in the Turn off Full Screen section, for Windows (and Linux?) to:

    1. Move your mouse pointer up to the top of the screen
    2. Right-click on the Tab Strip
    3. Click {menu Exit Full Screen Mode}

    Under Keyboard Shortcuts, the note for Windows (and Linux?) should be changed to :

    {note}Note: On some computers you may need to press {key fn} + {key F11} to make this work.{/note}

    Other issues:

    • Mac and Linux instructions are wrong.
    • Firefox doesn't support the OS 10.7 Full Screen mode. We should explain that.
    • The article should use the same style as other article for the step by step instructions.
    • Do we need any troubleshooting steps? Do people understand that Firefox will start up in full screen if you close it in full screen?

    We could also mention in the article that you can add a Full Screen icon to Firefox via toolbar customization and link to the How do I customize or rearrange toolbar items? article.
