    Bug 1422160 - Merge cache and site data settings in about:preferences RESOLVED FIXED in Firefox 60

    Here is a Firefox57-59 screenshot of the Privacy & Security panel showing the Cached Web Content section: Image:Fx59CachedWebContent

    Fx59CachedWebContent

    Firefox 60 no longer includes a separate "Cached Web Content" section under Privacy & Security. It's now included in the "Cookies and Site Data" section and cleared using the [Clear Data] button, as shown in the Manage local site storage settings article under Clear all information: {for fx60}

    1. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click {button Clear Data…}.
      Fx60CookiesAndSiteData-Clear
    2. Put a check mark next to the type of information you want to clear:
    • Cookies and Site Data (removes login status and site preferences)
    • Cached Web Content (removes stored images and other cached content)

    {/for}

    I'll update the article for fx60.
