I hope this helps I updated all my plugins when flash started giving me a white box instead of video on any site I used(youtube, hulu, pa tv on the penney arcade site). I was told by java that I was using a 32 bit browser and needed to make sure I had both 32 and 64 bit for it to work properly. Eventually using google I tracked down Adobe Forum Post and it lead me to an older version of flash. Installing the 10.3 version from a link here on that post worked even with the newer version of the active x flash for Internet Explorer still installed(flash worked fine in IE and in Google Chrome, just not Firefox). After looking this article up to see if there was anything like official notice of the problem I thought I'd share my experience if it could help. I do run 64 bit windows on both my desktop and laptop computers and just installed Waterfox on my desktop which prompted me to update the flash plug in again(but only to version 11.3.300.257), which wouldn't auto install so I clicked on the manual button and installed from the Adobe site. That version is working fine but obviously isn't the latest and where this problem began...
