useragent change with RFP enabled in Firefox 102+

  1. See this bug fixed for 102:

    • 1769022 - RFP: userAgent.AppendInt(spoofedVersion) !== 102

  2. In Firefox 102 with RFP enabled I get a Windows 10.0 user agent on Linux with the actual Firefox version (i.e. no longer ESR) via the HTTP headers and I assume the same happens on Mac.

    Firefox 102:

    • HTTP_USER_AGENT: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/102.0

    Nightly 104:

    • HTTP_USER_AGENT: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; rv:104.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/104.0

    navigator.userAgent still reports the Linux user agent, so the OS isn't spoofed.

    Firefox 102:

    • navigator.userAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/102.0
