The WebRTC feature allows you to make video calls directly from Firefox - no downloads or account signups needed! Grab a friend and help us improve Firefox WebRTC by participating in this experiment. All you'll need is a microphone, a webcam (optional), and Firefox Beta.
Invite someone to talk
- Launch Firefox Beta.
- Click on the phone icon on the toolbar to generate a link.
- Copy the link send it to a friend.
- When your friend visits the link and starts a call, you'll see a call notification on your browser.
- Click to accept the call.
- Use the privacy controls to mute your microphone or turn off your camera as needed.
- To end the call, click .
Controlling notifications: If you're not ready to receive a call, click on the status menu at the bottom of the window and set it to
to stop all call notifications.
I received an invitation. How do I initiate a call?
