Firefox 65 Beta has new Content Blocking options. Related bug: Bug 1501985 Update Content Blocking section in about:preferences VERIFIED FIXED in Firefox 65 (quote) Johann Hofmann [:johannh] - Digging out of backlog (Reporter) Description • 2018-10-25 06:40 EDT

We have new UX specs for 65: https://mozilla.invisionapp.com/share/RHORBWDNX4W#/screens

Things we should do in this bug (or in sub-bugs):

    - Remove the "Restore Defaults" button - Add a large shield icon - Add a card-like UI that allows the user to switch between "Standard", "Strict" and "Custom" mode

The section on Private Browsing will also need updating, since there is no longer an on/off switch.

The Content Blocking (formerly Tracking protection) article was recently updated and renamed "What happened to Tracking Protection?". This is copied from [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-happened-tracking-protection/discuss/7834#post-17389

I had a discussion with the product content strategy team about how to approach tracking protection in fx65. This article will continue being linked from the Firefox UI and will be used to funnel people to the Content blocking article which also needs updating. The product content strategy team has sent me a draft of proposed changes so I will be updating the Content blocking article over the next day.
