    Hi,

in the list of firewalls I find a lot, but not how to handle the firewall of "GData Internet Security". That is a commercial product (Windows only) which outperforms all others concerning protection level. It would be great if someone with enough knowledge could point out how to configure it so that it doesn't interfere with firefox. Thanks!

    Hi cjws,

Sorry for the late answer, but there was no way to monitor these article discussion forums until recently.

In the firewall article list, most are now no longer maintained, only the most viewed ones are still updated, that is Configure Windows Firewall to allow Firefox access to the Internet (458 hits the last week), Configure Norton 360 to work with Firefox (242 hits the last week), Update McAfee Security Center and firewall settings to allow Firefox access to the Internet (143 hits the last week).

So I reject your request to add GData Internet Security unless there is a KB link such as the one for Avira: http://www.avira.com/en/support-for-h.../567, which I don't find in http://www.gdata-software.com/support-center/.
