My suggestions: *'''Option 1:''' move steps from the [[Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again]] article here. *'''Option 2:''' add a link into this artcle which will point the users to [[Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again#w_disable-flash-protected-mode|Disable Flash protected mode]] section in the above article.

I made a new revision in which I added the steps for older versions. If you approve it, we'll update Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again and Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems, too.

Once the revision to article is approved we can change Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems to link here instead of to the "plugin has crashed" article

Just my opinion but I don't think we should update Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again to replace the content with a link to this article. It already gives all the information needed in one place to disable Flash protected mode, for people who are having plugin crashes. A link would just be another hoop that a user would need to jump through to get the answer.

If you want to avoid having to make separate edits in two articles, if something in the content needs changing, we could create a "DisableFlash-protectedmode" template that could be used in both articles.

My revision was approved. Are we planning to do more changes in these steps? If not, we can leave the steps in both articles, without a template.

If we are going to do more updates to the steps, it will be great to have a template.

I changed the link in the Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems article to link here instead of to the "plugin has crashed" article

I was going to create a template with the steps to disable Flash protected mode to use here and in the Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again article but ran into a problem (bug 1142285). I started a discussion here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/adobe-flash-plugin-has-crashed/discuss/6070 [Attn: Admin] Missing collapsed "Disable Flash protected mode" heading for win7,win8
