Having Flash crash on multiple machines XP to Win 7, all crash on DSL reports speed test page, as well as a few others (no video problems though). I'd been through the plugin test and un/re installing flash as well as Firefox. IE and Chrome had no such issues.

Found an old solution for Firefox 3.6.8 that was related here: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/746245

Solution was similar, except the parameter was smaller: dom.ipc.plugins.enabled;false (was previously true). This 100% fixed the problems on all my machines, and Firefox 6 is running better overall and loading faster on heavily flash based sites.
