About the New Tab page
Firefox makes it easier for you to access great content by bringing your most recently and frequently visited sites, along with popular sites and articles when you open a new tab.
When you use Firefox for the first time, you'll see links to top-ranking websites. These are eventually replaced with links to frequently and recently visited sites from your browsing history.
On the New Tab page, Firefox displays website links as thumbnails (miniaturized images) or logos, called tiles.
