Firefox android provides no master password/primary password protection so passwords in the Firefox password manager are protected only by your lockscreen swipe(yeah, I thought the same thing you just thought).

I need full protection like on Desktop or I can't sync my passwords to Firefox. However, when temporarily enabling password sync on desktop, for example between two desktop devices it also temporarily enables it on android Firefox that you might have synced as well. The upshot of this for me is that I now have all my passwords on android without wanting them there for the above reasons.

So, how do I remove all passwords on my firefox android, without having to reinstall Firefox on the phone?

I just wanted to report that a company recommended to me for a Password Keeper may be a scam.The company is called Keeper Security, Inc., out of Chicago, Illinois. They have a Password Keeper that gives you new user options for monthly, quarterly, and yearly subscriptions. I signed for monthly, with a new user amount of $1.67. They charged me the quarterly amount of $21+ ... which will be $39.99 the next quarter. I contacted them about their error, but have not yet received a reply. I just wanted to warn you so you can warn other Firefox users that this could possibly be a scam! Thank you.

Can't install yandex.ru mailbox to Firefox for Android. Using generated stecial application password did not get s result anyway

Thats all Im getting out if firefox now. I want to sign in to get help but like ending up here its knly after stumbling around sugnjng in, filling out request for help that dusappears and i have to start over. Ive been usinf firefox for years but i guess im just going yo be stuck typing in email addresses and passwords and writing them down which we are advised not to do but ive been online for half an hour getting nowhere.

Since the upgrade several days ago, I have not been able to select my saved password on some pages, instead I always see "Use strong password" to create a new one. I have not changed my password or anything, and can still see my account information in the saved passwords setting. How can I recover the way to input my password?

Apparently, if there are input boxes for both a username and a password on the page, my account is automatically set as before. Meanwhile, if there is only a password box, Firefox does not allow me to select my saved password.

Firefox for years has allowed me to autofill user/password in apps. Now it says "unlock firefox" and I have to open firefox, settings, saved passwords and search! What a pain in the A__ ! Why are you (MOZILLA) acting like all the other monsters taking control of the people ! Give me control over my device ! OPTIONS ?

I've been trying to view my saved passwords on mobile but every time I either enter my pin or use my thumbprint to log in, the action doesn't complete. It just goes back to the enter pin screen again and again.

This is the first time I'm encountering this problem and I'm a bit stumped.

Since an update I get "unlock firefox" when logging in to apps. It used to offer suggestions. I have to load firefox then settings passwords and search for the user/password name and copy! Why ?

Firefox on my Android smartphone is well synchronized with Firefox on the computer. I can see that both contain the same list of logins and passwords. When I must log in other applications, there is a notice that appears saying "unlock faierferox" followed by the sign of fingerprints. But when I try to have my fingerprint recognized, nothing happens.

What should I do?

How to export passwords from Firefox Android in readable format like CSV for other password manager apps like KeePass XC or AuthPass? 

Currently as I'm seeing all Gecko-based browsers especially on mobile not just Firefox but also Mull, Fenix, Waterfox and Iceraven, lacks this.

Is this intentional or should I just keep Chrome as my browser because to jump to Firefox, I need basic things to be covered, which I don't see, Mozilla Firefox team doing on its own. 

Other browsers like Opera have proper in-built system of password manager.
