On youtube mobile site or a reddit video, when I click the bottom right button to fullscreen the video, a message pops up that says 'entering fullscreen mode' (with a firefox logo on the left of the message) and then firefox closes and I'm at my android home page

This seems to happen when I watch videos in a new instance. If I reopen firefox to the video and then try fullscreen again, it goes full screen no problem. So basically it's annoying and happens when I try to watch any video full screen for the first time.

Is this a known bug? Wasn't an issue on my old phone (I just got the galaxy s23).

Firefox is fully updated from playstore. Only addons installed is ublock origin and Privacy Badger

I given feedback on firefox in google appstore and developer told me to further explanation what is happening. Firefox sometimes, becomes unresponsive for specific sites ... It starts loading them, but it get stuck in 1/4 of loading bar. It happens early morning most of the times which is unusual, right after I wake up. Site that it happens the most is 9gag.com. However, sometimes it happens to google search itself. What is funny when I use google search to access 9gag it fixes the problem, at least 33% of time, force stopping Firefox and cleaning cache helps additional 33% of time. Sometimes restart of phone is only thing that fixes the issue. My phone is xiaomy redminote5 with lineage 18.1 which is android 11. I use addons ublock and privacy bagger. If you message me where to find log in android file system I will share it ;) Sorry for wasting you time if it is already known issue. Thanks.

How can i get back into my hacled gmail? I can still log on tp firefox with the same hacked gmail bit not into gmail. Please Y'all, point me in the right direction

While attending Headcorn Air Show on Saturday 1st July 2023 I was using my phone when a message popped up thanking me for accepting something to do with Silodrome, message was gone before I could work out what had happened. Now I get regular notifications from Silodrome which I don't want but I can't find a way of turning them off.

Videos are not played on websites And the problem occurs on different sites In other browsers, it is useful to play the video site

On an Android phone you can go to open tabs and close all open apps tabs, etc. On my Android phone I am able to open the folder, empty all open apps and tabs, except for Firefox. Which was my default browser for the past 20yrs. When I open the folder and close everything, Firefox tabs remain with a large lock in the lower right hand corner. Anyone know what's going on?

I left a critical review on the Play Store recently at the time of writing this regarding how, for years, the Firefox Android App would crash whenever I try to check the 'Downloads' page. This happened on at least 3 different devices over the years, and still does to this day. Because of this issue, Firefox no longer notifies me the time takes for a download completion in my notifications; only that it's completed once it does.

I changed some settings in Firefox, or maybe Google. To filter stuff that I consider spam. I was apparently overzealous. I cannot view ANY ads from Googleads or DoubleClick. I also cannot view any ads that are labeled as "sponsored" when I do Google searchs.

Lastly I cannot even view links from my newsletters. When I get my weekly newsletter from Bloody disgusting.com and I click on the links for different horror movie reviews, it won't let me go to the story. It says address not found and the website at the top is awstrack.me

I have tried using a different browser (Chrome) and a different search engine (Duckduckgo). Nothing has worked.

Can anyone help please?

RE: Pages are blank question by dolanina. I have the same issue...twice now, after clear cache, uninstall and reinstall. Lost bookmarks, etc. Moderator Paul says ask again for help. Also, same as Carl_Spurchise... Same platform and OS, with Firefox version 114.2.0. Please help. Thanks.
