When right-clicking on the Firefox icon in the Windows task bar one has the option to "pin" items by hovering over an entry in the "frequent" list and clicking on the little pin needle icon (with the hover text "Pin to this list").

How can I pin items that are not in the frequent list? I have tried for weeks to make an important page a frequent one by making sure to visit it daily but it never makes it to the list.

Since upgrading to 147 last night, ChatGPT does not work and there are issues with other websites (Amazon side bar). Numerous people reported it on reddit. Any suggestions for a fix?

I had to install a new OS disk. So, I created an account, and made a synchronization. Then, I made a security backup. When I installed the SO and Firefox, I logged in to sync. As soon as I logged, it automatically started to sync the random tiles it had after install. So, I had to use the places.sqlite and favicon.sqlite files. It got me half the tiles, and even those were misplaced. So, I had to go for the security html, and I finally got everything I wanted. But, now it says the account is not associated. If I login to associate it, when I shut down the PC, it returns to those half tiles, and out of order.

How can I get this right?

As of 12/9/25, Firefox seems to now prevent Theme add-ons from working if there is a contrast setting configured in Windows configuration. (Version 146.0) Previously, this allowed a very aesthetically pleasing view. I would greatly enjoy having that option again. Thank you.

I just purchased 1Password because I need a password manager. I like Firefox and want to continue using it as my browser. My operating system is Windows 11 on a new Dell laptop.

But when I try to use the 1Password icon in the browser to save login information, I get only 3 choices: monitor, relay, and Firefox VPN. None works for 1Password.

I am very frustrated about this and hope my fellow Firefoxers can help me. I am disappointed Firefox offers no tech support.

The welcome addition of Tab Groups I just noticed on updating my Firefox, however looking through help and documentation, it's not clear to me if Tab Groups syncrhonise across devices (or at least desktop devices) as like recently added to Chrome. Wished to check if this is case

When I open Firefox in Windows 11 a small window appears that reads, "Firefox Couldn't load XPCOM. I have not found any solutions to stop this that work. Will Mozilla fix this?

I have a warning underneath my bookmark ribbon that says, "The security sandbox is disabled. Your configuration is unsupported and less secure." What is the security sandbox and what configuration is needed so that it supports the security sandbox. What happens if this security sandbox is disabled while I'm running Firefox?

All my Tabs Group have disappeared from the Tab Bar. I can see the Closed Tab Groups in the drop down but i can't find a way to re-open Closed Tab Groups. Any clues welcome. Running 146.0 and on the beta update channel.

a few days ago I received a message that i had an upgrade from Firefox. After that I can't find the bookmarks I had saved for paying bills as well as other important items.

I am a Firefox user for the last 20 years. I frequently use Google Translate, and I depend on the voice-to-text feature. However, when I try to use it in Firefox, I get the message: “Voice input is not supported on this browser.”

Because of this, I am being forced to switch to Google Chrome, which I don’t really want to do. Is there any workaround, add-on, or upcoming plan to bring proper voice input support to Firefox?
